BNP Road Show Hits Newcastle With A Bang

Last night Newcastle played host to the BNP election Road show.

Joey Smith and Dave Eales (2BE) started the evening's entertainment by singing some well known songs which the audience sang along too.

A very inspiring speech from Nick Griffin MEP followed and included information about the lifted membership ban and the war in Afghanistan.

There were a few emotional moments as he told how the parents of rifleman Martin Kingett, who sadly never made it back from Afghanistan alive, were out leafleting and canvassing on behalf of the BNP, just to try and take their mind off their loss.

Mr. Griffin ended his speech by stating that Tony Blair and Gordon Brown should be put on trial, to rapturous applause and cheering from the audience.

After the buffet and auction where fellow BNP member, Steven Spence won a signed picture of Nick Griffin MEP and Andrew Brons MEP after bidding £150, '2BE' rounded off the night with sing alongs of many different songs such as Jerusalem and It's A Long Way To Tipperary which saw everyone join in and wave their BNP flags.

Overall a very enjoyable night which was a huge success, enjoyed by all, raised thousands of pounds and signed up more candidates for the local elections in May.
