Newcastle North Meeting A Huge Success
Dinnington Parish Councilor, Terry Gibson opened the meeting and introduced the speakers.
Ken Booth, The North East organizer and Newcastle Central BNP candidate in the upcoming General Election gave a short and rather humorous account of the latest day of action in Newcastle city centre. The account included how over 4,500 pieces of literature were distributed to the good people of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Also speaking was Liverpool BNP activist and ex-serviceman, Pete Molloy. Pete gave a very informative speech regarding ideology. “The British National Party is an Ethno-Nationalist party, not a Civic Nationalist party.” He outlined the differences and explained how each ideology applied to different parties, Including UKIP who earlier this year saw their second MEP imprisoned for stealing from the taxpayer.
After the buffet interval and raffle, Steve Finlay was the next speaker who covered a range of topics including economics and how economic globalization is not benefiting the British people. He told how the leaders of other countries are helping boosting their economies and creating jobs, yet the British government is happy to allow foreign businesses to dictate the levels of unemployment within our country. Steve used the closure at ‘Corus’ steel works as an example which is owned by India’s Tata Steel Group, causing 1700 British people to lose jobs. This combined with the continued outsourcing of British jobs to countries like India has a disastrous effect on our economy, not to mention the lives of those who are unemployed. Another issue which was raised was an article in the Daily Express which positioned the UK at 7th in the world for size of economy and predicted that in coming years, that would fall to 15th.

As Ken Booth and Terry Gibson Wrapped up this successful meeting there was a whip round which raised over £150. The money raised will go towards printing more leaflets for distribution in upcoming days of action.

Theres Nothing British about the UAF and Socialism
Here we have Martin Smith from the Fascist UAF speaking at the Socialist Workers Party Marxism festival in 2007.
Watch as he states that flying the Union Jack is "APPALLING" and that the front page of the Sun Newspaper is "DISGUSTING" because it asks its reader's to fly the Union Jack against terror.
"When Fascism once more rears its ugly head it will be known as anti-fascism..."

Reds shocked at sight of Newcastle BNP
Normally on a Saturday at Greys Monument in Newcastle city center you will find the scruffy dropout dregs of our student population protesting about something that nobody else cares about except themselves.
This rabble tends to show up about 11.00am after dragging themselves out of bed 10 minutes beforehand, and the Newcastle BNP knew that!
So about 8.30am we descended upon greys monument and set up our stall where the reds are usually found, then after a quick coffee we started handing out our leaflets to the passing Xmas shoppers.
There was a great deal of interest and the "Voice of Freedom" proved to be very popular with over 20 sales in the first half hour.
Members of the public made it clear to all our activists that they were pleased to see the BNP in Newcastle and quite a few stated that we should even be there every week, a lot of the passing bus and taxi drivers also gave us a toot and a thumbs up to show us their support too.
At roughly 11.15am about 7 reds eventually showed up and were totally shocked to find that the Newcastle BNP had the cheek to steal their regular spot, so they hurriedly set themselves up on the opposite side of the road and got a youth aged about 15 or 16 to try and hurl abusive comments to us over a broken down screeching megaphone.
After about half a hour they realised that they could not fix their megaphone and we were not going to be bullied into moving, so they did what the reds usually do and phoned all their other scruffy dropout friends crying for back up (and a working megaphone).
And sure enough along they came....slowly, various little groups of half asleep reds started to appear and watched in utter amazement as leaflet after leaflet was taken from our activists by the friendly shoppers of Newcastle.
When the reds numbers had eventually reached about 120 and they had a working megaphone, they got brave and started their normal monotonous cry of "Nazi Scum", then one or two of their unwashed leaders started to do something in front of them that resembled something like a Indian rain dance?
This chanting only served to help the BNP as it made the public come over and take a look at what the commotion was, and when they saw the BNP stall on one side of the road and the scruffy reds on the other side most came, shook our hands and asked for a leaflet or requested an info pack.
The reds were fuming by this time and decided that they had to get closer and stop the public from making up their own mind about the BNP....so over they came until they were only a few feet away, but the public still pushed past the reds asking for leaflets and about 10 or 12 members of the general public even decided to postpone their shopping for a while and to stand shoulder to shoulder with the members and supporters of Newcastle BNP and face the screaming reds together as one.

This infuriated the reds even more so they came a little closer and attempted to snatch the leaflets from our activists hands, one well known Asian guy even went as far as to make a "death threat" to a lady supporter of the BNP but this was made out of earshot from the police so was not reported as he would only deny it, and some brave scruff thrust a megaphone into the face of a little 75 year old woman who had just arrived and screeched down to her that she was a Nazi ! !
Her reply to this scumbag {without a megaphone) was that her late father had fought, and been injured in both world wars just to protect and preserve the rights and freedom for people like him and that her late father would have been ashamed if he could see the state of Britain today.
After a short while the police then decided enough was enough and moved the rabble back as well as threatening to arrest a few for a range of offences including breach of the peace, threatening behaviour and obstruction of a public highway.

We had only planned to stay until about 12.30 or 1.00pm at the latest, but thanks to the reds chanting and the attention it brought we actually received a lot more support than we expected, the reds must have realised this and about 2.45 when we were packing up to go, one brave cross eyed individual threw an opened can of ribena at Ken (which missed him completely).
Back at base we reflected on the days proceedings and events, and everyone present agreed that it had been a marvelous day for Newcastle BNP and was worth every minute of standing in the cold and listening to the rabble.
FOOTNOTE: Over 4000 leaflets were distributed and a lot of new member enquiries were made as well as info pack requests.
Thank you also to all the general public who helped us.

Near Capacity Monthly Meeting
A very near capacity crowd of nearly 100 guest's, supporters and members braved the cold weather to flock to the venue where a warm welcome awaited them all.
Once inside they were met by Ken (regional coordinator), 5 great guest speakers, an ample free buffet and a good selection of BNP related merchandise which was made available for purchase by Ralph.
The new edition of "Voice of Freedom" was also made available for sale for the first time and a large number of these papers were sold. One BNP supporter even went as far as to purchase 10 copies just so he could give them all away to his fellow work colleague's who are also BNP supporters but could not make the meeting.

Sorry Standing Room Only ! !
After Ken had declared the meeting open and made his welcome speech, the 5 guest speakers all took turns to first explain why they support the BNP before moving on to make a speech on a wide range of current topics, share personal experiences and even share a few jokes with the audience (which added to the party atmosphere). The speakers included an American named William Jarratt, who told the meeting that after moving from The States, he joined UKIP, but became disillusioned with their economic policies and ever decreasing Euroscepticism thus decided that his home will be in the BNP.
Near the end of the meeting the raffle was drawn which included prizes of a bottle of Whisky, wine and lager.
A donation bucket was also passed around which resulted in over £230 being collected and will go towards helping Newcastle BNP fight the next general election.
After Ken declared the meeting closed I went and spoke to a few new supporters for a little feedback. The new supporters I questioned stated that this had been their first BNP meeting and had thoroughly enjoyed themselves, I then asked if they would be attending any more of our future BNP meetings and their reply was a resounding definite "yes"
A big thank you must go to Ken for arranging these meetings because I know that he puts lot of hard work into making these meetings such a success.

"Hope not Hate" Weekend of Action..NO Support ! !
After quick call to Ken Booth (BNP regional coordinator) we decided to go and have a look at our 39 opponents....And what a total waste of time it was ! !
We arrived at the library about 10.45 and had a quick peek inside, but none of the 39 loony left seemed to be present, so we waited patiently outside for them to arrive and took a seat on a bench a short distance away.
Eventually at about 11.25 they slowly arrived, but there were no banners, no leaflets and definitely not the force of 39 that their website had bragged about... in fact there was 6 ! ! !
They stood outside the library huddled together against the cold like sheep, and kept looking up and down the road waiting for other fellow lefties to arrive.
Then the local Labour councilor recognised Ken and looked a little shocked (which made us laugh), so after about 30 minutes they had a bit chat amongst themselves when they must have realised that they had wasted their time, and that their "weekend of action" was over.
At about 12.15pm they decided to call it a day and away they went.
So a message to those 6.... Give up ! ! People are waking up to your Lie's and the Lie's government has fed them for year's. The BNP is growing in Newcastle so get used to it.

The strength of Newcastle BNP
Amongst the many thousands of results that was returned were quite a few from our scum "UAF", and of course a few on the (we know everything) student forum's.
I noticed that quite a few of them were people asking about the strength, and support the BNP had in Newcastle? Of course the UAF reply was that we were minuscule and in a roundabout way stated that they had just about crushed the Newcastle BNP and we dare not show our face blah, blah, blah.
However, a few students post's that I read were a bit more honest...
One or two students stated that there was a little BNP presence that they were aware of in Newcastle, but they had not heard about any recent activity or received any literature, a few even stuck up for the BNP and its policies (that surprised me ! !)
So I suppose I decided to write this post just to put the record straight.
For your information the BNP is very strong in Newcastle and we have hundreds of known supporters, our support grows daily (unlike the UAF) and consists of people of all ages, and from all walks of life, rich and poor, male and female.
We could have activist's on the streets of Newcastle day and night, but why?
When people want to find out about the BNP they visit the main BNP website HERE and everything they want to know can be found there.
However, as the general election is now drawing closer we will be putting a campaign together, we will be canvassing, we will be having table top info stalls, we will be leafleting and much more... So very soon you will be able to see just how big the BNP actually is in Newcastle.

Massive BNP vote in Newcastle
Newcastle City Council Fenham Ward
Thursday 29th January 2009
Mitzi Emery (Lib-Dem) 1049
Helen McStravick (Lab) 1025
Kenneth Booth (BNP) 836
Sarah Armstrong (Con) 186
BNP Percentage: 27.0%
May 2008:
Lib-Dem 1491,
Lab 1188,
BNP 295,
Con 290.
At the city’s local council local elections in 2008, when Fenham ward was last fought, the British National Party polled 295 votes which was just 9% of the total vote.
Last night BNP candidate Ken Booth, received 836 votes, 27% of the vote, and trebled the level of BNP support in the ward.
“It was another in a string of brilliant results for the British National Party in local elections,” Ken Booth told the BNP website this morning.“We were the only Party whose vote share went up which shows that our message is getting home and that was in spite of the huge campaign by the trade union, Unison, which put out thousands of leaflets and sent out thousands of letters telling people not to vote BNP.
Their campaign was a spectacular and expensive failure and a waste of their members’ money.“We can clearly win this ward next time, but the next stop for us here in Newcastle is the European Elections where with a few more results like this one we shall be on course for a North East seat in the European Parliament,” he said.
The result has sent shockwaves through the political establishment, and was the main item on BBC Look North news this morning with Labour and Lib-Dem spokesmen clearly stunned by the size of the BNP vote. And this result couldn’t have come at a better time, as on Sunday the BBC’s Politics Show for the North East and Cumbria is charting the rise of the British National Party in the region.
In the past the Old Gang parties have blamed low turnouts for giving the BNP a high percentage of the vote, but last night’s huge 40% turnout, double the norm, blows that theory firmly out of the water. The BNP result is even more noteworthy in the light of a sizeable 11% ethnic minority population in Fenham Ward.
