BNP Smashes 14,000 Membership Mark - Party Now Larger Than UKIP

The British National Party membership figures have broken the 14,000 mark for the first time in its history, according to new figures from the party’s administration department.

As of the end of May 2010, the BNP has for the first time, over 14,000 members, an increase of 3,724 since April 2009.

This figure is very impressive, especially considering that the largest formal lapsing of non-renewing members that will be actioned at any point in the year (i.e. those with a December expiry date) has already taken place.

There were 3514 members due to renew in December 2009.

Of these, 2915 renewed, and 599 did not renew — that's an 83% renewal rate!

Since April of last year we have issued another 565 five-year loyalty badges.

The new 'super' integrated membership system is now fully up and running, working 'hand in hand' with the fundraising and Trafalgar Club databases.

This is easier to use, faster and more professional than anything we have had access to in the past, and has totally revolutionised the central database system.

Since the 1st April 2010 we have received more than 10,000 info pack requests.

Some 6,000 of these have already been processed, added into the database and been sent information packs by the Enquiries Department. The remainder are still being added into the database.

The Call Centre, another Midas innovation, has already called 3,500 of these enquirers. 876 of these enquiries have already been converted into members at a total value of £23,890 (or an average value of £27.27 per new member).

586 of these enquiries have already donated to the party at a total value of £17,707 (or an average value of £30.22 per donor).Where the enquirer has joined and then donated to the party, the donation average rises to £35.20 per member.

Adam Walker Cleared By General Teaching Council

Adam Walker, one of the North-East's hardest working Activists and not surprisingly one of the North-East's most persecuted members has had a case against him for religious and racial intolerance thrown out.

Adam said, "It's a fantastic opportunity for everybody to see that democracy is still alive and that we still have free speech in this country."

Adam was suspended from his position before resigning from Houghton Kepier Sports College in Houghton Le Spring after the headmaster asked IT staff to launch an investigation into his computer usage.

He was brought before a GTC disciplinary panel after posting on internet forums regarding the rise in popularity of the BNP, back in March 2007.

In November 2008, a leading trade unionist, Judy Moorhouse who is a former president of the National Union of Teachers was forced to stand down from the panel due to potential bias against Adam, an act that was procured by 'Solidarity' - the only decent, non-political trade union left.

Alas, in May 2010, the case was thrown out and Adam was judged not to be intolerant of different races and religions, and looks forward to returning to teaching.

Hopefully next time, the establishment will think twice before wasting your money on political persecution.

Call Centres Close As British Jobs Are Offshored

Call centre jobs in the North East of England which were meant to replace jobs lost by the Tory destruction of the coal industry, have also now vanished due to globalism and the failure to protect British industry.

Garland Call Centres, which operated from sites in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and South Shields, has gone into administration, leaving 1,150 people without jobs.

The closure follows the loss of 1,600 jobs when Indian owned Corus (formerly British Steel) closed down most of its giant steel works at Redcar earlier this year.

When the Tories shut down the coal industry in the 1980s, locals were told that there would be replacement jobs -- if they wanted them. This in effect meant low-paid jobs in call centres or supermarkets.

When Labour allowed manufacturing jobs to go to the wall over the last decade by allowing unfair foreign competition, locals were once again told that there would be new jobs created.

In reality the majority of these “replacement jobs” have been both low skilled and low paid, with call-centres in particular benefiting from the surplus of low cost labour.

Where high-tech jobs have been created the government, instead of giving preference and training to local people, have allowed companies to save money by recruiting from abroad, with the NHS being a good example.

The unions, hopelessly compromised by their support for international labour, have betrayed their members by saying little and doing even less.

Now it is the call-centres which have fallen victim to global economics as jobs are off shored to Third-World sweatshop economy countries.

Garlands issued a statement confirming this state of affairs: “The appointment of an administrator follows decisions by a number of Garlands' largest clients to move their outsourced customer service activity to other centres, many in low wage countries including Asia and Africa."

A spokesperson for the company explained that they have had to cease operations after a number of major broadband and phone company clients decided to cut costs by switching their business to cheaper Third-World providers.

When customers of these same broadband and mobile phone companies struggle to overcome the language difficulties when seeking assistance from “Dave” in Mumbai or “Val” in “Singapore” they should demonstrate solidarity with the growing number of economically inactive Daves and Vals in the North East of England and other “post-industrialised” areas of Britain by taking their business elsewhere.

BNP Secures Fourth Place Across Newcastle

The BNP came fourth in all three Newcastle constituencies, beating parties such as UKIP, Green and the Communist Party.

In this election nationally, the BNP trebled its vote since last general election as well as retaining their deposits in many seats which were contested for the first time.

In Newcastle Central, Ken Booth polled 2,302 votes (6.7%), which was nearly double the number of votes gathered by UKIP and the Greens together.

Terry Gibson polled 1,890 (4.3%) In Newcastle North, polling more than UKIP and the Greens together and Alan Spence attained 1342 (3.5%) In Newcastle East, beating the Greens and the Communist Party candidate, far-left political extremist and Northumbria University lecturer Martin Levy with an abysmal 177 votes.

"For the first time ever contesting these seats, the results were very encouraging." Ken Booth said after the count.

Locally the BNP achieved a few third places, most notably in Fenham and Elswick, where they were squeezed out of second due to the increased turnout and media hype regarding the Lib Dems, something which will not be repeated next year.

As well as the Elswick count being delayed for a few hours to allow the Labour candidate to visit the mosque, the count was marred by many sightings of BNP votes being put into the wrong pile, aswell as votes from other parties being put on top of a pile of BNP votes to pass off 100 BNP votes as Labour votes - luckily, the watching eyes of BNP members had these mistakes rectified.

The elected labour councillor for Elswick (Habib Rahman), used to sit on a board of governors for a primary school alongside Ken Booth, however he resigned as he did not have the time to be a school governor - hopefully he can find the time for the more demanding job of being a local councillor and not let the people of Elswick down.

Other notable results across the North East include Andy Swaddle's 7.0% in Jarrow, Donna Watson's 6.5% in South Shields & Cheryl Dunn's 6.6% in Easington - more than doubling last election's result.

North East BNP Launch Regional Manifesto

The BNP were confirmed as the 4th largest party in the North East as they launched their regional manifesto in County Durham last week.

The launch was attended by members of the press including the BBC, all there to hear about the tremendous growth and the policies of North East BNP.

The British National Party are the 4th largest party in the North East of England, fielding a full slate of 29 parliamentary candidates and 79 local candidates, which in both cases, is more than the amount of Green and UKIP candidates put together.

As people learn about their ridiculous policies, for example, UKIP's plan to tax everyone's income at 31% and making working people poorer, they tend to reject them and realise that the BNP is the only genuine alternative to the greedy, thieving criminals in Westminster.

There were many issues raised at the launch including investment in rural transport networks and the construction of trams in our city centres, as well as the proposal which the press picked up on which was the policy of converting the A1 & A69 into motorways after the immediate construction of second lanes.

Bank Holiday? NOT for Newcastle BNP Activists

As the rest of the Country relaxes over this bank holiday weekend, the Newcastle BNP election campaign is in full swing and will not be slowing down whatsoever.

The teams of loyal BNP activists can be found blanket leafleting various estates throughout Newcastle whilst many others are busy handing out hundreds of "Voice of Freedom" newspapers as well as excellent full colour "Vote BNP" window posters.

Yesterday (Saturday) the BNP election team set up its information stall in Benwell and within a few hours had nearly ran out of the hundreds of leaflets, posters and papers which were made available for free to the local residents and shoppers.

As I write this there are thousands of letters being posted, dozens of info packs being delivered, hundreds of info texts being sent and great new leaflets being printed.... the list goes on ! !

Newcastle BNP are running a massive election campaign and all our activists are doing an outstanding job... But imagine how much more we could do and how many more voters we could reach with just a few more volunteers.

If you fancy doing a hour or two leafleting, or handing out papers just contact us using the contact info displayed on the right of this Blog >>
