North East Patriots

North East Patriots is a forum designed to keep like-minded people together, informed and talking regardless of membership status with any particular party or none.

Hopefully it will help prevent people leaving Nationalism altogether during this state of flux and disillusionment we find ourselves in, until some sort of unity can be achieved.

We also hope to prevent vote splitting in elections by encouraging the many new parties with similar policies and aims to have dialogue and not stand against each other.

We can support campaigns, petitions and candidates in elections that we believe can have the best positive impact in the North East.

We believe everyone can play a part, we understand that not everyone is able to join a party or may have already joined one of the several splinter groups.

The main thing is that we stay together, talk to each other and remain friends. Because in the future we will all have to come together if we are to achieve anything worthwhile at all.

By sending us your contact details we can ensure that you, as a valued Patriot are kept informed of meetings, campaigns, developements and events around the region.

BNP Leadership Election 2011 - NOW WITH ELECTION BROADCAST

Andrew Brons MEP (left) with supporters: Richard Edmunds (BNP founding member) and Ken Booth (former NE Regional Organiser)

There will be a leadership election this year and it will be fought between the current leader, Nick Griffin MEP and the only challenger, Andrew Brons MEP.

Both candidates will be fighting for the votes of the party's membership, however one candidate will have to fight a lot harder due to the punitive campaigning restrictions which have been put in place.

Candidates have been barred from attending meetings to speak to the members and get their points across, why this is the case in a democratic election within the self-proclaimed 'most democratic party' of Britain, is yet to be understood.

This means that once again via official BNP media outlets including the website, Griffin has retained his monopoly over the dissemination of views that the members will be able to base their decisions on. - The obscurely named 'Way Forward' meetings were also said to have been used by the chairman to strengthen his position.

Despite the suffocating rules surrounding this election, many high profile BNP members and officials have came out with vocal support for Andrew, many of whom can be seen on the broadcast at the foot of this article.

Those notable party members include Lancashire county and Burnley borough Councillor Sharon Wilkinson, Rev. Robert West, Arthur Kemp, Martin Wingfield - former editor of the Voice of Freedom, John Bean -  The editor of Identity Magazine and many more including Regional Organisers and former Regional Organisers.

The announcement of a leadership election had became a rarity in the modern day BNP due to the ridiculous amount of signatures (around 800 last year) a candidate had to collect - a measure imposed by Griffin and made virtually impossible by undemocratic campaigning rules.

In Newcastle upon Tyne, the general consensus has been for a very long time that Griffin needs to stand aside, and it was discussed at local meetings.

When former North East Regional Organiser Ken Booth was asked to comment he quite simply said, "I'm supporting Andrew and the British National Party."

It is the view amongst many within the region, that Ken was unfairly dismissed from his position after he was sacked on the morning of an Advisory Council meeting that he had requested.

Ken planned to take along a chartered accountant willing to work for free in order to scrutinise the party's financial accounts - Ken was not allowed to attend that meeting.

Dissatisfaction with the incumbent chairman has made Newcastle's candidate count plummet from twenty-four to eleven, with many stating that they will not stand again until "Griffin is gone".

Despite this, the party still managed three second places within Newcastle (Elswick, Byker and Benwell & Scotswood) which is a testament to the hard work put in by almost disintegrating teams of activists.

The challenger, Andrew Brons MEP's 500 word statement can be read here.

The Newcastle Patriot urges all of those who are eligible to vote, to vote for Andrew Brons MEP - It is the view of this editor that a ceiling of support has been reached under Nick Griffin and the party is now taking huge strides backwards in membership, financial and electoral terms.

All voting members are also urged to attend the hustings in the North East region, for which they should have received the arrangements by post.

Vote for a change which is desperately needed. Vote for Andrew Brons MEP.

The Newcastle Patriot has decided not to ask Andrew Brons for comment as a communication of any substance may be seen as breaking 'electoral' rules.

Lib Dem Vote To Collapse - A Message From Newcastle BNP

Election fever is gripping the nation as British National Party Activists are out in force. With the predicted COLLAPSE of the LibDem vote in the West end of Newcastle, there has never been a better time to get yourself out with the activists whilst we try and take back our city from the corrupt politicians who are giving it away lock, stock and barrel.

There are lots you can do, whether it's leafleting, canvassing, driving, manning stalls or even just coming along to see how everything works. Every little really does help, and in these elections ONE VOTE can win it (or lose it as we have unfortunately already seen).

Although to many who have never done it, canvassing can seem daunting, but from experience, there is nothing more rewarding than being warmly received on nearly every doorstep - A situation which is becoming more and more common.

So please, lend a hand, if only for an hour or two. Play a part in securing our homeland and taking back our city - and meet some good friends along the way.

Just get in touch with Ken on 07954 434173 for more information or to lend a hand.

And don’t forget our monthly Newcastle meeting is on Tuesday 26th April at 7.30 pm. Again, call Ken for more information.

Remember, many hands make light work. We don't have trade unions ploughing millions of pounds of their members' money into us like the Labour party - We don't have huge multi-national corporations funding us like the Tories and we don't have rich Conservative Party members, making 7 figure donations to us like the establishment sponsored pressure valve UKIP, which only exists to take away BNP votes.

It is because of this that we rely on the hard work of ordinary people, like you and me, who just want what is best for themselves, their family, their friends and their countrymen.

Election Fever Hits Newcastle upon Tyne

Teams of canvassers and leafleters are out in force around Newcastle, giving people a real choice these coming  elections.

The British National Party hold a huge amount of support in Newcastle's West end, mostly from the natives who have been abandoned, only to watch their home colonised by members of the third world, before being labelled a 'racist' for not supporting the transformation.

As well as improving on the results in the West end (a difficult task due to the continuing population and cultural shift), the local branch are keen to improve results in surrounding wards - the areas considered to be next in the council's sights for 'enrichment'.

Newcastle organiser, Ken Booth has told the Patriot, "The word on the doorstep is that the Lib Dem vote is due to collapse and it is imperative that it is the BNP who pick up these floating votes.

The only way this is possible is by getting out on the street and helping the cause."

If anybody would like to help Ken and the team, if only for an hour or two, get in touch on 07954434173
